Walk-a-bout

oon@nets.comWalk-a-bouts

While living in the Australian bush with Aboriginals I was invited to go on walk-a-bouts and slowly gather a personal understanding of the Dreamtime, Song Lines, and Dreaming Sites.

I have created a version of a walk-a-bout here in the Southwest. I take clients, small groups starting in my Yurt preparing which includes Shamanic journeys to connect with your guides and explore what your power symbols, songs, dance, a basic understanding of medicine, a council circle sharing using a Paoa “talking stick”, and mainly what you want to manifest, change, let go of, begin healing in your life. You will develop an expanded awareness, sense of self, use art, increase your personal inner power, what to disengage from, meet power animals and guides, and interconnect with the land, animals, and yourself. Every walk-a-about is designed specifically to meet your needs for information, knowledge, wisdom, and healing. Many times we travel to the Pecos River, a Native American ruins, or visits with Native American brothers/sisters of mine. I am finding my walk-a-bouts are becoming the most popular of my workshops/trainings. They are a perfect fit with the needs of most clients and small groups. Russell - one of my walk-a-bout guides in Australia - orphaned and found a home growing up in the bush at Big Bill Niedjie's camp.... He led me across a billabong known to be the home of large Crocs ..... Pecos Ruin Kiva, Tent Rock near Santa Fe, mountain rivers where many walk-a-bouts spend time learning how to power up a river then use it for healing, letting go, and connecting to our rivers within.

Meeting your Power Animal

My power animal workshops or individual sessions involve meeting your power animal or a power animal retrieval by myself. We do the work in my my new yurt SE of Santa Fe. Depending on the weather we also can work in the small town of Pecos along the Pecos river or the Kiva in Pecos.
We dance, paint, and journal the new power animal. We journey back to the power animal for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. I always brew up special tea to enhance your experience. We have also made masks and paintings of your power animal.
Power animal workshops are catered to each person’s needs. e-mail for more info oon@nets.com or phone 505-466-4807
