Ross LewAllen, MA, is an initiated elder, grandfather, and a seeker/adventurer. He is a co-founder and longtime member of two men's support groups that have existed for over fifteen years. His extensive travels have taken him to sacred sites in Africa, Peru, Ecuador, Hawaii, Tonga, New Zealand, Sweden's Arctic Circle, Denmark, Europe, and Australia. He has trained with shamans worldwide, including Serge King, Bill Niedgie, Loren Smith, Michael Harner, Sandra Ingerman, Ove Svensson, Ailo Gaup, and Grey Antelope.
For over 30 years Ross has been a designer and creator of jewelry in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he co-owns a studio and gallery with his daughter Laura LewAllen. LewAllen Jewelry His jewelry designs for fifteen years all have to do with wellness and healing. He has facilitated countless workshops, many using talking sticks, and teaching honest and safe communication to groups. Ross is trained in Watsu techniques (shiatsu in body temperature water) in addition to his shamanic work. He is a ritualist, ceremonialist, storyteller, image-maker, trickster, and teacher. Ross is skilled in helping people empower themselves.
Ross is an avid sailor. He has a passion for the ocean its wildlife, magic and adventure. He lives part of the year on s/v "Friendship" a 30-foot Catalina sloop. Friendship’s homeport is San Diego. You can arrange for shamanic healing sessions on board with an integration sail afterwards out on the Pacific.
Ross just returned from Denmark and Norway teaching a workshop in northern DK and spending time at many old Viking sites and a Stone Age temple 5k years old.
Ross is currently working on a CD with Hanne Møller, from Denmark, called "The Rune Book".
Ross is a graduate of Serge King’s advanced Huna training in Hawaii and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies three- year program with Michael Harner.
